DIRECTIONS
FROM SOUTHAMPTON
BY TRAIN
Direct trains are available at Southampton Central to Bournemouth Central. The trains leave between 8, 13, 30 and 40 min apart. The journey takes 20 min by the fast train and 45 min by the slow train.
BY COACH
Direct coaches from Southampton are available from the coach station. Coaches 206, 205 and 035 Towards Poole or Weymouth will take you to Bournemouth.
BY CAR
Drive on to West on the M27 towards Ringwood, until reaching A31.
Stay on the A31, keep left.
At the Ashley Heath roundabout, turn left in to A338 towards Bournemouth.
Take the 2nd exit on St Paul’s roundabout (A338) on to Wessex Way.
At Bournemouth West Roundabout, turn first exit on to B3066.
Take 1st exit on the roundabout on to Poole Rd/ Poole Hill, continue straight on Commercial Road and then Terrace Road. Ippon Gym is on the left side of the road.
The journey takes about 40-50 minutes.
FROM SALISBURY
TRAIN
Trains leave every 20 or 30 min towards Southampton Central, where train changes are made towards Bournemouth.
BY COACH
National express: 033 Towards Basingstoke and Heathrow Airport. Change at Southampton for 206, 205 or 035 towards Poole/Weymouth, get off at Bournemouth.
BY CAR
Drive south on the A338, until reaching the roundabout at the end of Salisbury Rd.
Take the 3rd exit on to A31. Keep left.
Take the first exit on At the Ashley Heath Roundabout on to A338
Continue straight on the A338.
Continue straight (2nd exit) on St Paul’s Roundabout (A338) on to Wessex Way.
At Bournemouth West Roundabout, turn first exit on to B3066.
Take 1st exit on the roundabout on to Poole Rd/ Poole Hill, continue straight on Commercial Road and then Terrace Road.
Ippon Gym is on the left side of the road. The journey takes about 50 minutes to 1 hour.
FROM DORCHESTER
TRAIN
Direct trains are available from Dorchester to Bournemouth. The trains leave about every 30 min.
BY COACH
National express; 035 Towards London Victoria, or 315 towards Eastbourne.
BY CAR
Head east on the A35, and continue on straight. Then stay on the A350.
Take the 1st exit on the roundabout on to A3049 towards Dorset Way.
Then take the 2nd exit on to B3061 on Old Wareham Road.
Take the 2nd exit on to Ringwood Road, follow road (B3068). Turn left in to Sea View Rd (B3061).
At the roundabout take the 1st exit on to Ashley Road.
At the end of Ashley Rd, take the 2nd exit (A3040), on the second round about take the 2nd exit again on to Poole Rd (A5).
Head left on to the A338 at the end of Poole Rd on to Wessex Way. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit on to B3066.
Take 1st exit on the roundabout on to Poole Rd/ Poole Hill, continue straight on Commercial Road and then Terrace Road. Ippon Gym is on the left side of the road. The journey takes about 50 minutes.
FROM POOLE
BY TRAIN
Direct trains are available from Poole to Bournemouth every 10 and 30 min.
BY BUS
Yellow Buses; 3, 5a, 5b and 6.
The M1 and M2.
Get off at the Towns Square (Gervis Place). Then head towards Debenhams or Wetherspoon, continue up on the hill past the church. Ippon Gym is located on the right side on top of the hill.
BY CAR
Head west on to A350 and then on to Towngate Bridge.
Continue straight, then take the 2nd exit on the roundabout on to High Street (N).
Take the 1st exit to the right on to Elizabeth Rd and turn left again on to Parkstone Rd.
Take the 2nd exit on the roundabout and continue on Parkstone Rd.
At the end of Parkstone Road continue on the A35 straight to Commercial Road.
Continue on Bournemouth Road (A35). Take the 3rd exit on the roundabout on to Poole Rd/ Poole Hill, continue straight on Commercial Road and then Terrace Road. Ippon Gym is on the left side of the road.The journey takes about 15-20 minutes.
If you are travelling by train or coach, there are buses from the Bournemouth Rail/Coach station that will bring you in to town.
